Nicole and Jack had the best fall elopement in Colorado that was effectively a highlight reel of an elopement in the Rockies. The two are from Texas, so their vision was to have a romantic and intimate time in Colorado’s gorgeous scenery we have here in the fall. First, to start the day they got ready separately, and I spent the time with Nicole. As she got ready Miranda did her hair and makeup in a local VRBO. Nicole wore her dress is from David’s Bridal and accompanied by the bouquet made by Catherine Huynh Designs. Meanwhile Jack’s suit from Men’s Warehouse. I drove Nicole to meet Jack for their vows at Officer’s Gulch, which is located between Frisco and Copper Mountain. As an elopement photographer in Colorado, I aim to help plan. This includes location scouting that fits best with what couples want and envision!
For the fall elopement ceremony, it was just the two of them. The state of Colorado doesn’t need an officiant to be married legally, otherwise known as self-solemnization. That itself made the day more special. After reciting vows to each other and exchanging rings they sealed their marriage with a kiss. After popping the champagne and sharing a first dance, we hung out for a bit for intimate photos. Documenting the sweetness of their big day hits the high notes of this elopement!
Once the sun had set, we went back into Breckenridge and got pizza and beer at Fatty’s. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! Of course, strangers were honking and congratulating them on their marriage! After eating dinner and diving into deep conversations, Nicole and Jack found their favorite song on the jukebox and danced to it. Overall, the entire day of this fall elopement in Colorado was full of magic, love, and laughter which was a joy to be a part of!
I love the pizza shot!
