Known for my signature modern-romantic style, relaxed approach, and iconic imagery, my Colorado-based and international elopement and wedding photography sits at the cross-section of in-the-moment documentary narrative and the kind of expertly-posed portraits you'll pass down forever.

My Style

Earthy, organic, romantic! I keep most natural tones, enhancing the earthy hues. It's film-inspired essentially. I identify as a semi-documentary photographer, taking photos of what's happening in the moment, but also posing and placing where light and shapes are best. All the while having the romantic overall feeling.

My Story

I was born profoundly deaf and wear Cochlear implants to help me hear! I learned ASL in college and love to stay on top of that. I often tell others that I "hear with my eyes" thus bringing my talents and devotion to how my photography is used!

My Method

I'm all about connections. I think our emotional and physical connections are vital to our lives and makes us who we are - human. I know being in front of a camera is sometimes scary! I want to connect with you first and foremost so that everything I capture is organic. I listen to what you need is so that trust is built.

the LENS

I'm JULIA — Jules is what my husband calls me. I'm an Enneagram 3 to my core, a Dr. Martens girl, a constant world-wanderer, and a huge Elderbrook fan.

With the keen vision of a portrait photographer, I work alongside my couples and clients to craft images that are seamlessly semi-documentary — brimming with genuine affection, breathtaking sceneries, and candid moments (with the direction they need to achieve the photos they want) I am endlessly inspired by the interplay of light, and I view elopements, weddings and portrait sessions as intricate, exuberant, and stylishly emotional festivities that continually captivate my heart.
